CHANGE OF COMMAND AT SRI LANKA AVIATION UNIT, SOUTH SUDAN
The Handing over Taking over Parade of the Sri Lanka Air Force Aviation Unit under the United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) was held yesterday (3 December 2020) at the Contingent Headquarters.

The new Contingent Commander, Group Captain D L Hewavitharana WV, RWP and Bar, RSP and three Bars, MMS (Mil Com-PRC), BSc (Def Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc, qhi took over duties as 5th Contingent Commander from Group Captain KMSPB Kulathunga RWP, USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), MSc (Strat Stu), fawc, psc.
After the Parade, administrative formalities were done at the Contingent Commander’s Office with the participation of senior officers of the contingent.
