63 CIVILIANS QUARANTINED AT SLAF QUARANTINE CENTRE PALALY LEAVE FOR HOMES

63 civilians who were repatriated from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and quarantined at the SLAF Quarantine Centre in Palaly completed the required period yesterday (28 December 2020) and were sent home to their families. The Quarantine Centre at Palaly was established on the instructions of the Commander of the Air Force in order to support the government’s effort of controlling the COVID-19 outbreak in Sri Lanka.

These civilians have been instructed to further self-quarantine themselves at home for a period of 14 days. The operation and management of the SLAF Quarantine Centre at Palaly was done under the supervision of the Acting Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly, Group Captain Rasanga De Zoysa and the staff of the Station.
