PRIME MINISTER OF PAKISTAN, HONOURABLE IMRAN KHAN DEPARTS SRI LANKA

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Honourable Imran Khan departed the island yesterday (24 February 2021) evening on completion of a historic 2-day visit. The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana was part of the official entourage which saw off the departing Prime Minister. The departing Prime Minister was accorded a Ceremonial Street Lining by the Sri Lanka Air Force at Bandaranayake International Air Port before entering the special aircraft for departure.

The Hon. Foreign Minister, Dinesh Gunawardena, High Commissioner of Pakistan and other high ranking state officials participated for the event to see off the departing Prime Minister.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
