Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya celebrated its 32nd Formation Day on 27th October 2010.

The Formation Day celebrations began with a Working Parade held at the Base premises today 27th Oct 10. The parade was inspected by Base Commander SLAF Base Vavuniya, Air Commodore Rohintha Fernando.

In addition, the Base personnel at Vavuniya  engaged in cleaning the public cemetery at Vavuniya . The celebrations continued with a cricket match and Volley ball match with the participation of all base personnel. The celebrations culminated with an all rank’s lunch at the children park play ground premises.
