SLAF Base Hingurakgoda conducted a blood donation campaign on 07 April 2021 at the Base premises. The campaign was conducted in collaboration with the Blood Bank of the District General Hospital Polonnaruwa under the guidance of the Base Commander, Group Captain SD Jayaweera.

The intention of this campaign was to donate blood to the National Blood Transfusion Service in order to cater the demand for blood during the prevailing health situation in the country. The Base Commander, Officers, other ranks and Civil staff of the Base participated for the event.
