The Asian Long Distance Swimming Record Holder, Corporal Roshan Abeysundara of the Sri Lanka Air Force was appreciated by the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, General (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne yesterday (06 May 2021) at the Ministry of Defence. The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana also participated for the event.

Corporal Abeysundara was presented with a letter of appreciation and a memento by the Secretary. The Secretary congratulated Corporal Abeysundara on his historic achievement and also conveyed his best wishes for all future endeavors.
