NEWLY RENOVATED CLIPPERS BEAUTY SALON AT GUWANPURA DECLARED OPEN BY THE COMMANDER

The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana declared opened the newly renovated Clippers Beauty Salon at SLAF Guwanpura this morning (7 May 2021). The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana also participated for the opening ceremony along with the Commander. The Commander was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Vice Marshal AJ Amerasinghe on his arrival.

The Clippers Beauty Salon was renovated in order to provide additional space and enhance the available facilities. It was renovated and modified according a concept of the Commander of the Air Force by the Directorate of Civil Engineering through Air Field Construction Wing at SLAF Base Ratmalana, under the direct supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.

The Command Welfare Project Officer, Air Commodore Anura Jayathilake participated for the event. The Project Engineer of the construction team, Squadron Leader Oshan Maginarachchi who accelerated the construction during a short period of time and the Officer in Charge of the Clippers Beauty Salon, Squadron Leader Tharinda Samarasinghe along with their staff members participated for the opening ceremony where the Commander thanked them for their admirable achievement.

Members of the Air Force Board of Management, the construction crew along with staff of the Clippers Beauty Salon also participate for the event.
