The outgoing Military, Air and Naval Attaché at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Colombo, Colonel Denis I. Shkoda made a farewell call on Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana at Air Force Headquarters on 02 June 2021.

During the call on, the outgoing Defence Attaché expressed his gratitude to Commander for all the cooperation extended during his tenure. The Commander also expressed his gratitude to Colonel Shkoda for all the support extended to the Sri Lanka Air Force and wished him every success in his future endeavors. The Commander and the Outgoing Attaché exchanged mementoes to mark the occasion as well.

The Assistant Military Attaché, Colonel Pavel V. Ivashinnikov at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Colombo also participated for the farewell call on.
