12TH PHASE OF ‘GUWAN MITHUDAM’ PROJECT COMPLETED AT PALALY
The 12th phase of “Guwan Mithudam” Project was successfully concluded yesterday (27 September 2021) at Palaly under the guidance of the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs, Charmini Pathirana.
During this project, a set of essential Medical Equipment was handed over to the Teaching Hospital in Jaffna including an Oxygen Cylinder, Blood Pressure Apparatus, Pulse Oximeters, Infrared Thermometers, Non-Rebreather Masks and Venturi Masks for the COVID-19 Treatment Unit.
The event was successfully completed under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly, Group Captain HWR Chandima. The Director of the Teaching Hospital in Jaffna Dr. T. Sathiyamoorthy participated for the occasion and he conveyed his sincere gratitude on behalf of the Hospital Staff by mentioning the importance of receiving such equipment during the prevailing pandemic situation. The event was held with limited number of participants due to COVID-19 restrictions.
