SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT DONATES A MILLION TO ‘LITTLE HEARTS PROJECT’

In commemoration of the International World Children’s Day 2021, under the guidance of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana and the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana, the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit conducted a special donation programme of donating of 1 Million Rupees to the ‘Little Hearts Project’ at Lady Ridgeway Hospital this morning (01 October 2021).

This donation was made with the intension of assisting them to meet the objectives of the project by providing timely, appropriate and the best possible care to all children with heart diseases and critical illnesses in the country. Knowing that this project will immensely contribute to save the lives of thousands of innocent children in our country, this thoughtful and generous financial donation was made by the ‘SLAF Seva Vaniitha Unit’ on behalf of all children of SLAF families.

The occasion was graced by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana and the Project Director of the Little Hearts Project at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital, Dr. Duminda Samarasinghe giving due consideration to the Covid 19 preventive measures.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
