19TH PHASE OF THE SEVA VANITHA "GUWAN MITHUDAM" PROJECT CONCLUDES AT KATUNAYAKE
The 19th Phase of Guwan Mithudam Project was successfully completed yesterday (24 November 2021) by SLAF Base Katunayake under the guidance of Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana.
Installation of an elevated water storage tank with pipeline system and two wash basins at St/ Anne’s M.V., Kurana and the donation of three water purifiers to St/ Joseph’s Home for the Elders at Thammita, Negombo were completed as the 18th phase and handed over by the President Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Katunayake, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa on behalf of the Chairperson.
The projects were funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit in association with SLAF Base Katunayake and the event was successfully completed under the supervision of Southern Air Commander and Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal RAUP Rajapaksa. The event was held with limited participants due to COVID-19 restrictions.
