The Handing Over/Taking Over Parade of SLAF Base Hingurakgoda held today(15 January 2022) where the Acting Base Commander, Group Captain SR Jayarathne WV, WWV, RSP, USP, MMS(Mil Com-PRC), BSc(Def Stu), Pg Dip(Def Mgt), psc, qhi handed over the command to Group Captain WPAH Perera RSP and Bar, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), MA (SSS-USA), BSc (Def Stu), ctf-ndu, psc .

The new Base Commander, Group Captain Perera held the appointment of Base Commander SLAF Base Vavuniya before being appointed to command of SLAF Base Hingurakgoda.
