SLAF STATION COLOMBO VISITS WARD NO 03 OF THE MULLERIYAWA HOSPITAL

The Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo officially handed over the renovated Ward No.3 of National Institute of Mental Health, Half-way Home Mulleriyawa and also conducted a special donation programme yesterday (15 February 2022). Essential commodities for patients were donated to the Hospital staff. The project was carried out under the guidance of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana and on the instructions of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo, Air Vice Marshal Dilshan Wasage.

A pirith chanting was arranged to mark the completion of the renovation and commencement of treatment facilities at the Ward.

Officers, airmen and airwomen representing Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo and staff of the Mulleriyawa Hospital participated for the event.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
