SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT MOVES BEYOND WITH “GUWAN GUNADAM”
“Guwan Gunadam” a novel concept which is pioneered by the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana and under the guidance of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana in view of uplifting the living standards of the civil employees who are serving in Sri Lanka Air Force establishments.
As the preamble, all SLAF establishments were given an opportunity to consider the grievances of civilian employees and the most deserving five personnel were selected for projects namely house renovations and self-employments. Finally, following civilian personnel were chosen after a series of meticulous administrative process which made under “Guwan Gunadam” concept.

Mr. K Methayas from Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo,
Mr. GK Gunarathne Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sigiriya
Mr. PP Wijesinghe from Air Force Station Morawewa
Mr. S Ravindaran from Air Force Station Batticaloa
Out of these five projects, four projects were duly completed and handed over to the respective beneficiaries in line with the 71st Anniversary celebrations.
