HEATED HUMIDIFIED OXYGEN THERAPY UNIT HANDED OVER TO DISTRICT HOSPITAL AKURESSA

A Heated Humidified Oxygen Therapy Unit (HHOT) manufactured by the Sri Lanka Air Force was officially handed over to the District Hospital Akuressa yesterday (08 March 2022) by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Koggala, Group Captain Thilina Rajapaksha. The Unit was accepted by the Director District Hospital Akuressa, Dr . M. Vidanapathirana on behalf of Health authorities.

The event was organized in line with the celebration of International Women’s Day by Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF Station Koggala and the financial assistance provided by the members of 306/A -02 Lions’ Club Dehiwala.

Governor and members of District 306/A – 02 Lions Club Dehiwala, Director and medical staff of District Hospital Akkuressa, Commanding Officer, few officers and other ranks from SLAF Station Koggala participated for the event.
