NO 1 IT WING AT SLAF RATMALANA CELEBRATES 9TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

The No 1 Information Technology Wing at SLAF Base Ratmalana celebrated its 9th anniversary today (11th March 2022). A customary working parade was held on the same day and it was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander API Sampath Kumara.

The celebration included community service activities and religious activities. The Wing conducted a Community Service Project of donating dry ration packs to families around Ratmalana who were in need.

In parallel to the celebration, a Bhodi Pooja was conducted at the Ashokaramaya Temple premises on 08th March 2022 to invoke blessings on all the personnel of the No 1 Information Technology Wing, their families and for all its future endeavours. In addition, a blood donation event was conducted in collaboration with the university hospital of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.

The Director of Information Technology Air Commodore Arosha Vithana has also attended to the celebration event.
