SLAF STATION BATTICALOA CELEBRATES 39TH ANNIVERSARY
SLAF Station Batticaloa proudly celebrated its 39th anniversary today (27 March 2022) under the guidance of Commanding Officer, Group Captain WMDGCPK Warnasooriya.
The anniversary day proceedings commenced with a Sramadana campaign which took place at St’ Ann’s College Veechukalmunai and followed by a volley ball tournament during the evening.
In line with the celebration 450 coconut plants were cultivated in the station premises. SLAF Command Agro Unit provided the plants for the cultivation at SLAF Station Batticaloa. In addition, gift packs sponsored by the People’s Bank Vavunathivu were also distributed among the students who completed their tenure at preschool SLAF Station Batticaloa.
