ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING WING SLAF BASE RATMALANA CELEBRATES 33RD ANNIVERSARY
The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Ratmalana celebrated its 33rd Anniversary today (02 April 2022). The Wing was established at SLAF Base Ratmalana on 02nd April 1989.
The anniversary celebration commenced with a Working Parade reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain KRP Ekanayaka and followed by a tree planting campaign.
The day’s proceedings were concluded with a cricket tournament organized at the Base Sports Ground with the participation of all officers, other ranks and the civil personnel of the Wing to encourage the comradeship and sportsmanship.
In parallel to the anniversary, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Wing organized a Sramadhana campaign followed by a renovation of temple buildings at Thelawala Sri Nikethanaramaya temple and also a Dengue prevention programme at Blind and Deaf School Ratmalana with the participation of all personnel of the Wing on 25th and 30th March 2022 respectively.
