“GUWAN MITHUDAM” 31ST PHASE COMPLETED IN KUMBURUPITIYA
The 31st phase of “Guwan Mithudam” project was successfully concluded at the “Vidyavimukti Temple Kumburupitiya” today (05 April 2022) by SLAF Academy China Bay under the guidance of the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana. The water project was handed over to the residents of Kumburupitiya by the Acting Commandant, Air Commodore Chandima Alwis.
The Kumburupitiya water project which was concluded today will facilitate 22 underprivileged families in the village who are in difficulty of finding drinking water. During the event, dry rations were also distributed for 22 families in the area.
This project was funded by the Seva Vanitha Unit and SLAF Academy China Bay and was successfully completed under the supervision of the Commandant, Air Commodore Asela Jayasekera.
