The Inter Unit Billiard and Snooker Championship – 2022 was held at SLAF Base Katunayake yesterday (07 April 2022). The awarding ceremony took place at the Gymnasium SLAF Base Katunayake with the graceful presence of Director Welfare, Air Vice Marshal CHR Soysa as the Chief Guest.

SLAF Academy China Bay emerged as the Inter Unit Champions whilst SLAF Base Anuradhapura secured the runners-up. Mr. Saman Bandara and Leading Aircraftman Bandara of SLAF Base Anuradhapura became the Champions of the Billiards Open Men’s and Women’s’ event respectively.

The ceremony was attended by Director Sports, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Chairman SLAF Billiard and Snooker, Members of the Air Force Sports Council and other invitees.
