Sri Lanka Air Force Avurudu Pola which is an annual event organized by the Directorate of Welfare and SLAF Base Katunayake was held today (11 April 2022) at ‘Sports Arena’ at SLAF Base Katunayake.

The Director Welfare, Air Vice Marshal Hemantha Soysa graced the Avurudu Pola as the Chief Guest. The event was attended by the Chief of Staff, members of the Air Force Board of Management and Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake along with all other establishments Commanders.

Officers, airmen, airwomen and civilian staff of Sri Lanka Air Force attended to the Avurudu Pola along with their family members and were seen happily buying various products sold at concessionary rates at the outlets operated by SLAF establishments represented from all over the country.
