The 32nd phase of “Guwan Mithudam” project was successfully concluded yesterday (05 May 2022) at Katharagama Janadhipathi Maha Vidyalaya by SLAF Station Weerawila under the guidance of the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana.

Approximately 1500 students are educating at this school where a purification plant was installed in view of addressing the much felt need of drinking water for their consumption. During this project, a vacated building of the school was fully renovated to  establish the plant.

The project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit together with SLAF Station Weerawila and the project was supervised by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Weerawila, Group Captain Asoka Koralage.

The plant was handed over to the students and teachers of Katharagama Janadhipathi Maha Vidyalaya . The Commanding Officer, a cross section of officers and other ranks of SLAF Station Weerawila, principal, teachers and the students of the school witnessed the occasion.
