SLAF STATION MULLAITIVU CELEBRATES 11TH ANNIVERSARY

SLAF Station Mullaitivu celebrates its 11th Anniversary today (03 August 2022). The day’s celebrations commenced with the working parade and the address to all officers, airmen and civil staff of the Station by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain ADR Liyanaarachchige and followed by religious observances and an Elle tournament.

In line with the anniversary celebrations, a Shramadana Campaign and an alms giving were conducted at Alampil Children’s Home, Mullaitivu on 01st August 2022. Then, a blood donation campaign was conducted in the Hospital SLAF Station Mullaitivu on 02nd August 2022 and also two bus stops in the Wattappalai Junction were renovated and handed over to public on 31st July 2022 with the participation of the Commanding Officer, officers and airmen of the Station.


Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
