The Annual General Meeting (AGM) – 2022 of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was held today (26 August 2022) at the Air Force Headquarters Auditorium. The  AGM  was chaired by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Charmini Pathirana and was attended by its member spouses of the Air Force Board of Management, Presidents and the Officers-In-Charge of SLAF Academy, Bases and Stations together with Coordinators of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.

The event commenced with the singing of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem followed by the welcome address by the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana. This was followed by the reading of minutes of the previous AGM by the Secretary Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Suresh Fernando. Thereafter, the Treasurer Seva Vanitha Unit, Squadron Leader Sahan Gamage read the financial reports pertaining to the year 2019 to 2021. In addition, a video footage consists the summary of the Community Service Responsibilities conducted by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit during the year 2020 to 2022 was shown to make the audience apprised.
