The Change of Command of Mechanical Transport Repair and Overhaul Wing SLAF Base Katunayake was held yesterday (29 August 2022). The traditional handing over/ taking over parade was conducted at the wing premises where the outgoing  Commanding Officer  Group Captain MPPC Perera MSc (Mgt) handed over the command to Group Captain MCM Fernando USP, MSc (Def Stu) in Mgt, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), BSc (Def Stu)  in Aero Eng, psc.
