Inter Unit Taekwondo Championship 2022 was held at SLAF Base Katumayake yesterday (23 November 2022) with the graceful presence of the Director Ground Operations of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal GGWTK Gunawardana as the Chief Guest.

SLAF Base Katunayake and SLAF Station Colombo emerged as the Men’s and Women’s Champions at this year's Taekwondo Championship respectively. SLAF Base Vauniya and SLAF Academy China Bay secured the Men’s and Women’s runners-up trophies. Corporal Gunasiri GND representing SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa titled as the Best Male Player and Leading Aircraftwoman Dharmakeerthi BDIN from SLAF Station Colombo awarded as the Best Female Player.
