CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF OF THE INDIAN NAVY VISITS NO 3 MARITIME SQUADRON SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY

Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy, Admiral R Hari Kumar visited No 3 Maritime Squadron at SLAF Academy China Bay yesterday (16 December 2022) in line with his official visit to Sri Lanka.

The Navy Chief was received upon arrival by the Commandant SLAF Academy China Bay, Air Commodore Asela Jayasekera and was accorded a Ceremonial Guard of Honour.

The visiting Naval Chief discussed the matters regarding the newly inducted DORNIER 228 aircraft to SLAF with the Commanding Officer, No 3 Maritime Squadron and the squadron staff. Further, Admiral R Hari Kumar met the Indian Naval technical crew attached to the No 3 Maritime Squadron and followed by the official plaques exchange between the Commanding Officer and the visiting dignitaries to mark the occasion.  

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
