CHAIRMAN-JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE OF PAKISTAN CALLS ON THE COMMANDER OF THE AIR FORCE
The Chairman-Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza NI(M) called on the Commander of Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana this morning (10 February 2023).
General Sahir was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore Suresh Fernando and the Guard of Honour was conferred by the No. 43 Colour Wing of the SLAF.
Official plaques were exchanged between the two Chiefs at the Commander’s Office after which General Sahir met with the Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff and the Board of Management of the SLAF.
Following the customary proceedings, Air Marshal Pathirana and General Sahir discussed bilateral matters of mutual interest, such as strengthening defence cooperation and enhancing training opportunities.
