ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF DEFENCE IN USA CALLS ON CHIEF OF STAFF
The US Principal Duty Assistant Secretary of Defence for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs, Jedidiah P. Royal, called on the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapakse, at Air Force Headquarters today (16 February 2023).
The head of the delegation was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore Suresh Fernando.
Following the arrival, cordial discussions were held on bilateral matters of mutual interest as strengthening defence cooperation and enhancing training opportunities.
The occasion was attended by Defence Attaché of the US Embassy, Lieutenant Colonel Nelson, Assistant Defence Attaché in the US Embassy, Mr. Seth Nevins and US South Asia Desk Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Christian Mitchell.
