The Air Force Men’s Hockey Team emerged victorious with a triumph over the SL Police Hockey Team during the finals in the All Island Inter Club Men's 9-A Side Hockey Tournament – 2023 yesterday (19 March 2023) at Edward Park Hockey Ground, Matale.

Ten hockey clubs strived in the tournament and the Air Force Hockey Team earned the spot by defeating the Old DS Senanayakan’s Hockey SC in a diligently contested semifinal. Ultimately, the SLAF Men's team won the title by defeating the Police Hockey Team 02-01 during the Grand Finale. During the Awards Ceremony Leading Aircraftman Weerasooriya PGLG was recognized as the Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament.
