The 12th Defence Services Triathlon Championship 2023 was held on 04 April 2023 at the SL Navy - Walagamba, Thiriyaya camp premises. The awards ceremony was held at the same venue. Commander of the Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral HGUD Kumara, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The championship featured three events, namely swimming (750 m), cycling (20 km), and finally running (5 km).

The SLAF Aquatics Triathlon Women’s Team secured the Overall Championship, the individual Gold medal won by Leading Aircraftwoman Dassanayake LKGKK and the Bronze medal won by Leading Aircraftwoman De Silva KDA at the event.

The event was attended by Chairman SLAF Aquatics, Air Commodore Deshapriya Silva and senior officers from the tri-services.
