No.02 Mechanical Transport Repair & Overhaul Wing, SLAF Base Vavuniya, celebrated 09th Anniversary today (28 April 2023).  The celebration commenced with the customary Working Parade which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer of No. 02 Mechanical Transport Repair & Overhaul Wing, Wing Commander SPD Hemadasa.

In line with the celebration, Community Service Projects were conducted by the service personnel of the wing, which included developing the infrastructure facilities of Kapirikgama Primary School, and colour washing the shrine at Kapirikgama Thuburuk Raja Maha Viharaya and conducted a religious programme at Pillaiyar Kovil at SLAF Base Vavuniya under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of No. 02 Mechanical Transport Repair & Overhaul Wing.
