The outgoing Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, made a farewell call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage at the Army Headquarters today (26 June 2023).

Air Marshal Pathirana was accorded with a Guard of Honour on arrival at Army Headquarters. After a brief discussion, Air Marshal Pathirana conveyed his gratitude for the support extended to the Sri Lanka Air Force during his tenure. The two Commanders exchanged mementos to mark the occasion and the Lieutenant General Liyanage conveyed his best wishes for all future endeavors.
