COMMANDER MAKES A FAREWELL ON THE SECRETARY TO THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE
The outgoing Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana with his lady Mrs. Charmini Pathirana, made a farewell call on the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, General Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) at the Ministry premises yesterday. (28 June 2023).
After a brief discussion, Air Marshal Pathirana conveyed his gratitude for the guidance and support during his tenure and presented the Secretary of Defence with a memento to mark the occasion. General Gunaratne (Retd) also reciprocated with the presentation of a memento to Air Marshal Pathirana and praised him for his dedicated and distinguished service to the nation and wished him success in all future endeavors.
