CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY OF NO. 43 LAND BASED AIR DEFENCE BASIC COURSE
The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of No. 43 Land Based Air Defence Basic Course (LBAD) was held yesterday (04 July 2023) at the Air Defence Gunnery Training School, SLAF Station Iranamadu. Senior Staff Officer at the Directorate of Ground Operations, Air Commodore BAMP Balasuriya, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The No. 43 Land-Based Air Defence Basic Course comprised two officers and 34 Airmen and passed out after completing 75 days of rigorous training. During the ceremony, 36 Trainees received their certificates upon successful completion of Land Based Air Defence Basic Training conducted by the Air Defence Gunnery Training School.
Flying Officer KWC Rashmika was adjudged the Best Student of the Course and Aircraftman Senuka NDY was secured as the Best Land Based Air Defence Gunner among all Airmen.
The event was attended by all officers, other rank instructors and airmen of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Iranamadu.
