The Change of Command at Command Agro Unit SLAF Base Katunayake was held yesterday (05 July 2023).

The traditional Handing Over/Taking Over Parade was conducted at the Command Agro Unit, where the outgoing Command Agro Officer, Air Commodore PE Gunawardena USP, BVSc (Hons), MVSc, PG Dip (Def Mgt), FSLCVS handed over command to Group Captain HBD Samaratunga MSc(Flori & Land Arch, Bsc(Agri).

Air Commodore PE Gunawardena has been appointed as Acting Director Agriculture and Welfare Projects at Air Headquarters.
