COMMANDER PAYS HOMAGE TO THE TEMPLE OF THE SACRED TOOTH RELIC IN KANDY
In keeping with tradition, the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, visited Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy and paid homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic this morning (08 July 2023).
The Commander called on Venerable Mahanayake Theros of the Malwatte and Asgiriya Chapters at their respective temples and received their blessings during the day. Following the call on sessions, the Commander and his family visited the Sri Dalada Maligawa Museum.
The occasion was attended by the Chief Custodian of Sri Dalada Maligawa, Pradeep Nilanga Dela, the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, beloved family members of the Commander and other representatives from the Air Force.
