The SLAF Station Iranamadu celebrated its 12th anniversary today (03 August 2023) by giving prominence to social, multi-religious and recreational activities under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Sulochana Marapperuma.

 The celebration commenced with the customary working parade, which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer. He addressed the parade and paid tribute to those who had commanded the station previously. In addition, emphasized that he expected the utmost dedication and commitment from all personnel at the station, for the future development of the station as well.

 In line with the anniversary celebrations, Shramadana Campaigns were conducted at Primary School Kalmadunagar, Preschool Ramanathapuram and Regional Maternity Clinics at Mayavanoor on 29 July 2023 and besides that, dry ration packs were distributed to low-income families. Further, a renovation programme conducted at Muthlan Preschool in Ramanathapuram.
