The Dental Hospital, SLAF Station Colombo, celebrated its 9th anniversary on the 1st of August 2023. The Formation Day celebration commenced with the customary working parade, which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain PVB Dissanayake, on 02 August 2023.
Addressing the gathering, the Commanding Officer honored all the past Dental Officers, Dental Hospital staff and civilian personnel who have contributed to the hospital's development since its inauguration. Additionally, he extended his gratitude to all the present staff members for their dedication and active contributions to the Hospital's current development, especially during the pandemic and the challenging situation in the country.

The celebrations included a "Shramadana" Campaign at Thaninayagam Vidyalaya Borella on 31 July 2023, a "Dharma Sermon" on 02 August 2023 at the Dental Hospital premises and a cricket tournament among the Dental Hospital staff, including civilian personnel, which was held at the Prison Ground premises in Borella on 03 August 2023.
