Under the guidance of the Chairperson of Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa and in collaboration with the Directorate of Welfare, SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit organized “Herali Rasa Peraliya” a Jackfruit related Cooking and Awareness programme which was conducted by the Leading and Renowned Chef Mr. Pabilis Silva on 21 Aug 23 (yesterday) at Eagles’ Lagoon View Banquet hall, Katunayake.

This session was organized to impart culinary experience on varieties of food that can be made using Jackfruit. Spouses of the Air Force Board of Management too participated this event. This session was conducted as an interactive cookery programme and several varieties of jackfruit related food items were prepared. Lady Officers, Airwomen, wives of service personnel and SLAF caterers were mainly aimed for this and more than 100 personnel attended this event.
