The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit conducted a donation programme to students at Kidagalegama Vidyalaya in Medawachchiya today (29 August 2023). Kidagalegama Vidyalaya, situated in a rural area of the Medawachchiya district, is an underprivileged school facing significant challenges in meeting the basic educational needs of its 163 students due to financial constraints.

Under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, and with the generous assistance of the well-wishers, Mr. Kushil Gunasekara, a gift pack comprising essential stationery items and other school accessories, as per the school principal's request, was presented to the school.

The event was attended by Base Commander SLAF Base Vavuniya, Group Captain Poojana Gunathilake, Secretary Seva Vanitha Unit, Squadron Leader Viludani Yatawara and members of the Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit, as well as the Officer in Charge and members of SLAF Base Vavuniya Seva Vanitha Unit, the school principal, teachers and students.
