The Inter Unit Elle Men’s and Women’s Championships – 2023 concluded  today (18 September 2023) at Sports Ground SLAF Base Katunayake. The acting Director General Aeronautical Engineering, Air Vice Marshal MPA Mahawattage graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

SLAF Base Katunayake secured the Men’s Championship whilst the No. 26 Regiment Wing of SLAF Base Katunayake claimed the Women’s Championship.

Deputy Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Group Captain ADR Liyananrachchige, Commanding Officer Hospital Base Katunayke, Air Commodore PAV Padmaperuma, Director Sports, Group Captain WASB Weerasekara, Air Secretary, Group Captain SAPT Piyaratne, Secretary of SLAF Elle, Wing Commander GDP Premadasa, Members of the Air Force Sports Council, officers and other ranks attended to witness the event.
