SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT CONDUCTS A HOUSE WARMING CEREMONY
A house constructed by SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, under special full house category was handed over to Sergeant Niroshana GS yesterday (28 October 2023). and the house warming ceremony was held at No. 10/39, Weheregama, Central Camp, Ampara. The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit funded this project, while the construction work was undertaken by the dedicated staff of the Civil Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake. This project was executed under the guidance of the Director General Construction Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Udula Wijesinghe and supervised by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Ampara, Group Captain Lalith Sugathadasa.
The event was attended by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Ampara, as well as the staff of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and a cross-section of Officers and Other Rankers of SLAF Station Ampara.
