Annual Commander's Inspection at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Palaly, 2011

The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama was accorded a Guard of Honor whilst carrying out the first Annual Commander’s Inspection at SLAF Station Palaly this morning (18th March 2011).

The Station Commanding Officer Group Captain Athula Kaluarachchi received the Commander on his arrival and a Guard of Honor was conferred by Flight Lieutenant Damika Sikuradhipathi.

SLAF Station Palaly provides advanced training courses for Operations Ground tradesmen who successfully complete the Gunners Basic Course. This Station also functions as the main hub for both civil and military aviation to the northern Peninsula.
