CINNAMON CABANA DECLARED OPEN BY THE COMMANDER

The newly constructed Cinnamon Cabana at Marble Beach Resort was declared open today (19 January 2024), by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa at the Marble Beach Resort premises. The opening ceremony was attended by Commandant SLAF Academy China Bay, Air Commodore RADTM Weeraratne, Commanding Officer No. 01 Leisure and Recreation Wing, Group Captain SV Premawardana and all formation Commanding Officers of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay.

This lonely cabana is situated furthest from the main resort about 400m away and right next to a shallow rock pool. A favourite of snorkelling enthusiasts, it gives easy access to a fascinating assortment of coral reefs. Cinnamon features a newly added private lounge area deck, en-suite bath, sun bed and private dining and living area which add a sensuous touch to the edge of the Marble Beach experience with a spectacular view of Trincomalee inner harbour.

Sri Lanka Air Force, is the only aerial arm among the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, responsible for defending the nation's airspace and supporting its sister services for all kind of operations.
