The change of command of SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura was held yesterday (27 November 2024) at the Station Colombo premises. The handing over/ taking over parade was conducted at the Station where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Commodore HWR Chandima RWP, RSP, USP, MSc (Mgt), ndc, Justice of Peace handed over the command to Air Commodore Galappaththi RSP & bar, USP, ndc.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Commodore HWR Chandima will take over the appointment of acting Director  Ground Operations Personnel & Planning and overlook duties of the Director Special Operations.
