SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT CONDUCTS A HOUSE WARMING CEREMONY
A house constructed under the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to the family of Leading Aircraftman Gamage GDRDK yesterday (27 January 2025) and the House Warming Ceremony was held at Mahawadduwa, Wadduwa. The Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit funded this project, while the construction work was undertaken by the dedicated staff of the Civil Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake. This project was executed under the guidance of the Director General Construction Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Chandana Geethapriya and supervised by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Katukurunda, Group Captain Manjula Abeywickrama.
The event was attended by the Staff Officer Welfare II at the Directorate of Welfare, Group Captain Malitha Ranrajeewana, Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Katukurunda, the staff of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and a cross-section of officers and other rankers of SLAF Station Katukurunda.
