The Change of Command of SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura was held today (16 May 2025). The handing over/ taking over parade was conducted at the Station Colombo premises where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Commodore MPA Galappaththi RSP & bar, USP, Justice of Peace, ndc handed over the command to Air Commodore VGB Piyasiri.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Commodore MPA Galappaththi will take over the appointment of acting Director Ground Operations Personnel & Planning.
