
SLAF WOMEN’S CRICKETER SHINES AT WOMEN’S JAPAN PREMIER LEAGUE 2025

The SLAF Women’s Cricketer, Corporal Malsha Shahani has delivered an exceptional performance at the prestigious ‘Women’s Japan Premier League – 2025’, held from 27 May to 01 June 2025 in Sano City, Japan.
Representing the well-known ‘Mamushi’ Team, Corporal Malsha Shahani’s outstanding performance was instrumental in steering the team to success. Her efforts played a crucial role in clinching the championship title for the ‘Mashumi’ team this year. Demonstrating remarkable skill and determination, she was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, scoring 93 runs and claiming 08 wickets throughout the tournament.
Corporal Malsha Shahani has been selected to join the National Women’s Cricket squad. She is set to represent Sri Lanka in upcoming International Women’s Cricket tournaments, further, cementing her place as a rising star in the sport of Cricket.
