CHIEF OF INTEGRATED DEFENCE STAFF TO THE CHAIRMAN CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE CALLS ON THE COMMANDER

The Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC) of India, Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit of the Indian Air Force, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, today (05 June 2025), at Air Force Headquarters.
Air Marshal Dixit is visiting Sri Lanka following his participation in the concluded Indo–Sri Lanka Defence Dialogue. During his visit, he met with the Commander of the Air Force to discuss strengthening bilateral defence cooperation. The discussions focused on the development of collaboration between regional air forces, joint training programmes, the exchange of technical knowledge and the expansion of maritime surveillance operations.
Also in attendance at the meeting were Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal Lasitha Sumanaweera, Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Deshapriya Silva and Director General Aeronautical Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Gihan Senevirathna.
Following the cordial discussions, mementos were exchanged to mark the occasion.
